Dhoom:3 – Aamir Khan vrooms ahead of competition to make Rs 500 crore box office record!

Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif along with
their Dhoom:3 cast and crew can now
celebrate the stupendous success of their last release. Dhoom:3 did manage to end 2013 with a bang and has upped the success quotient for 2014. Yash Raj’s latest installment of the successful
Dhoom franchise has made a dashing
entry into the Rs 500 crore club, in fact it
is the first Bollywood film to hit this mark. According to the makers their film has grossed Rs 501.35 crore ($83.56 million) worldwide. The film hit the theatres on Dec 20 last year and created a splash at the box office.

Today, Yash Raj Films (YRF), issued an
official statement confirming the news.
In their press release the makers of the
film said, ”Dhoom:3 continues to create history at both the Indian and overseas box office. It is now officially the first Indian film to cross Rs 500 crore
worldwide.” They also gave a detailed
break up of their collections
internationally.

Gross box office collections in India – Rs
351.29 crore

Gross collections in the overseas market-
Rs 150.06 crore ($25.01 million).

Total gross collections – Rs 501.35

Dhoom 3 Crosses 150 crore in Overseas and 500 crore Worldwide after Third Weekend.

Dhoom 3 is creating history one after another and making it extremely difficult for upcoming films to challenge its barrier. We know how hard it was to break 3 Idiots box office collection and almost all record of 3 Idiots remained for nearly 4 years. Dhoom 3 Becomes 2nd All Time Highest Grosser Film

The Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Dhoom 3’ is now becomes second highest grosser of all time in bollywood. Dhoom 3 creates history again. It breaks the lifetime collection record of Chennai Express.

Dhoom 3 has collected Rs. 16.71 crore on its second Sunday. It collected Rs. 16.22 crore from Hindi version and another Rs. 52 lakhs from Tamil and Telugu version. The third installment of Dhoom series, has collected Rs. 38.85 crore in its second weekend. The total 10 days collection of Dhoom 3 is now becomes Rs. 227.83 crore.

Dhoom 3 is now becomes second highest all time hindi film grosser after beating Chennai Express which was collected Rs. 227.13 crore at Indian box office. The highest grosser of all time is Hritik Roshan starrer Krrish 3, which has collected Rs. 248 crore at domestic box office.

Dhoom 3 is fully on race and all set to become highest grosser of hindi cinema. Trade analysts also predicts that it will start Rs. 300 crore club at box office.

Dhoom 3 2nd Weekend Box Office Collection

The Aditya Chopra ‘s latest production Dhoom 3 is done great business at Indian box office on its second weekend too. Though ‘Mahabharat’ released this Friday, it did not affect the collection of the film.

Aamir Khan starrer Dhoom 3 has collected Rs. 35.14 crore on its 2nd weekend at the domestic box office. It has collected Rs. 10.10 crore on Friday, Rs. 12.04 crore on Saturday and Rs. 13 crore on Sunday. After its 2nd weekend, the total 10 days collection of Dhoom 3 is now becomes Rs. 224.12 crore.

Directed by Vijaya Krishna Ancharya, Dhoom 3 has already become 3rd highest grosser of bollywood by beating two blockbuster movies. It has broken the lifetime box office collection record of Salman Khan’s 2012 blockbuster ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and Aamir’s 2009 blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’, which was collected Rs. 199 crore and Rs. 202 crore respectively. But it has failed to beat the lifetime record of Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express which had raked in Rs 227.13 crore.

Trade analysts predicts that Dhoom 3 will definitely beat Chennai Express record on its 11th day (today) and will become 2nd all time highest grosser of bollywood after Hritik Roshan’s Krrish 3. Stay tuned for more updates.

Dhoom 3 Becomes All Time Fastest 200 Crore Grosser

Aamir Khan again proved that he is the present box office king. His latest release ‘Dhoom 3’ has crossed Rs. 200 Crore club yesterday. And Dhoom 3 has become the fastest Rs. 200 crore grosser of all time in bollywood. Dhoom 3 crossed Rs.200 crore in just 9 days. It beats the fastest Rs. 200 Crore grosser record of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chennai Express which was entered in that club in 14 days.

Dhoom 3 has collected Rs. 12.04 crore on its second Saturday. It collected Rs. 11.67 crore from Hindi and Rs. 0.37 crore from Tamil and Telugu version. The total 9 days collection of the film is now becomes Rs. 211.12 crore in which Dhoom 3 has collected Rs. 200.44 crore from Hindi and rest Rs. 10.68 crore from Tamil and Telugu version at Indian box office.

Dhoom 3 has done well in its second Friday too. It has collected Rs. 10.10 crore (Including all versions) on Friday. The total 8 days box office collection of the film is now Rs. 199.08 crore at Indian box office.

Aamir Khan starrer third series of Dhoom, has managed to collect Rs. 9.80 crore from Hindi version and Rs. 30 lakhs from its Tamil and Telugu version. Film failed to cross Rs. 200 crore yesterday but Dhoom 3 will hit ‘double century’ today.

Dhoom 3’s total collection so far is now Rs. 199.08 crore in which it has collected Rs. 188.77 crore from Hindi version and rests Rs. 10.31 crore from Tamil and Telugu version.

According to the early estimate, Dhoom 3 has collected Rs. 10-11 crore on its 8th day at Indian box office. Total collection of the film till now rests at Rs. 199- 199.98 crore.

The second installment of Dhoom series, has registered drop of around 27-28% on its 2nd friday from Thursday. It is doing well in both single screens and multiplexes.

Dhoom 3 would show growth on its 2nd Saturday and Sunday because there is not any big film released yesterday. It will become fastest Rs. 200 crore Grosser today (Saturday) and is all set to break the record created by Chennai Express and Krrish 3. The actual collection of Friday will update at 3 PM today.
